Modified my post ... I'll do both color (for me) and formatting (for you). Quite exciting that it has finally started

Best,

hey sul! all looks accurate by my POV as well. And after rechecking, I can't find anything that conflicts with you using your own su/sp abilites immediately upon successful control of the victim. I don't know wht I was thinking.

Suit of armour is very Full Metal Alchemist. I approve! good thinking. You may even come across as a warforged if you wanted to.
Y'know... if you put the etheral reaver cost modifier on a suit of armour you would be able to manifest in the suit, and have it pick up stuff and manipulate normal reality. and then just as easily withdraw back to the etheral with it.
That is somethin you may want to consider spending gold on. I don't knowwhy I didnt' think of that sooner, though.

Anything Vintereth does that involves the use of illusions or transmutations to hide something will be placed in quotes. At this point, all that comes up are her armor (with the Glamered property) and her physical appearance (covered by Minor Change Shape). See below for an example. Multiple quoted phrases consequently represent multiple instances of this.
Quote:
Instead of the "human's" "traveling clothes",
True Seeing pierces both, in case that comes up.

I've never seen the show, so the analogy is a little lost on me.

Ooh, I like that idea. This might be an alternative to creating a body... or I'm sure we can figure something out.

note to self:
step 1 - (surprise round) manifest, grab the king's pants (standard action), retreat to ethereal (move action)
step 2 - ???
step 3 - profit

p.s. won't be home for a while yet. Will post later tonight (or early tomorrow... I hope)

Oh, and despite having stowed her scorpion chain, Vintereth has (hidden) claws and a bite as Morphic Weapons.

The Full Metal Alchemist reference refers to the character of Alphonse Elric. After he and his older brother Edward unsuccessfully attempted to bring their mother back from the dead (for complicated reasons), Alphonse's body was devoured by The Gate (the source of all power in alchemy). His soul still existed in a sense, so Ed gave his right arm (or maybe his left leg) to transmute Alphonse's soul into a six-foot suit of armor. Due to its full-body nature, few people in the series know that Alphonse's body is only the armor itself, and not a person in the armor. At the end of the anime (not the manga, which is ongoing), Alphonse regains his human body, but loses his memories of the three/four intervening years in exchange.

I've found Lords of Madness, and thus can work out something bizarre as an Elder Eidolon if you'd like that.

*Very* Flavorful stuff there.

On the question of piercing disguises via magical means - Celestine's 'human' disguise would be pierced, but as the werebear is a physical change I don't think that is pierced, so he would appear to be a large angry werebear. Fun!

According to the new polymorph rules, True Seeing pierces things like the Polymorph line of spells and Wild Shape. More precisely, someone with it cast on them "sees the true form of polymorphed, changed, or transmuted things". Additionally, Wild Shape is based on alternate form, which is explicitly pierced by True Seeing. So Celestine would have the same appearance as normal under that spell - unless, of course, Nondetection was cast on him.

Mmm...Nondetection...

So, seeing as I am disguised as myself ... anyone trying to see through the spell ... will see myself. That is excellent. It means its impossible to know what I'm wildshaped into.

I recall something stating that Lonewolf wouldn't be around for a week or some portion thereof, but I can't seem to find such a statement.

all dice rolling for whatever will occur there. If you havent' read the faq's and "how does this place work" newbie threads, take some time.

we'll roll dice in the dice roll thread, and then hypertext link them inside yer post....

for example,
Fil smites zarzak for not reading faq.

in the dice thread, go advanced and click on the dice icon then type, "d20+101" or whaetever.
then on the post # up to the right save the link and psaste the hyperlink into your text like I just did above.

and then you have an instream reference to your dice rolls for any action youtake requiring a roll.

Who here has never played PbP? I may need to do some tutoring real quick.

Its my first time, but it is pretty common sense. The posting the dice roll in a different thread was the only newish thing to me. I went over and took a look at the FAQ though. To anyone who doesn't know, its the red "Help" at the top right of the page (it took me a bit to figure that out, heheh).
