There are a lot of neat things in there. Incarnum items, psionic equipment, item crystals, new relics (Vintereth will make a point to use none of them), and more per-day items in general. Plus, runestaves are great for expanding effective spell lists. Unfortunately, some of the stuff is made for characters of a lower power, but given without discussion on scaling up. Still...there's some inference that can be made - if the item grants a bonus, you can probably use the normal quadratic scaling methods.

And in case you're wondering, I have had my copy for about a month.

Zarzak is referring to Ehlonna's Seed Pouch, one of the relics that originally showed up in Complete Divine. (It even had a picture there.) Some of its effects have changed, however.

Wall of Thorns is an amazing control spell. No save, no SR, absolutely kills movement, and quite difficult to destroy as well. Make it big enough and you can even catch flyers. Freedom of Movement/Flawless Stride doesn't work either.

wanna go out with a bang, or keep the plot moving forward?
mmmmmmmmmm. Inevitable wars amidst the spires of sharn. I detect a new book from the Khoranburg Chronicles!
My vote is to just try and wrap up this section of the mystery, although maybe that's because I'm awful at the investigative stuff and would rather someone else do it

*Laughs* ... I'm fine with either ... whatever the rest of the group wants.

Best,
David

And Aurok likes to hurt things. For justice.

I suddenly had the image of the two of them catching up with those Stonebrothers, and as they fled through the walls, Sul would tell Aurok where they went and Aurok would just smash through the wall going after them.

"SILLY BITCH, YOUR 200 HP WALLS CANNOT STOP ME!"

"...crap."

I don't like the MIC. They nerfed one of my favourite broken items that I was hoping to use - the Flesh Ring of Scorn. Their balancing act *obviously* means that the book sucks.

Also, if fil pulls out Fiendslayer crystals, I'm boned.

A lot of practice running away is good for the body.

Hey... am I leaving Murgis too open ended? I just realized I could probably narrate a good chunk of that conversation for you... but there's a couple different directions I can go with him. If you want me to "movie sequence" through that one I can, just give me a few questins so I know what you guys want from the conversation.

Or you can just inteact through it. I don't mind at all... I want to be certain to make the most of what time we have left with David without rushing through things unnecesarily..

In regards to zarzak's post ooc... There was a team of greenspeakers, and a team of silver flame members mentioned in the prologue that had gone missing...

There are four other adventuring parties such as yourself attempting to solve the riddle of the robberies... it is still only an assumption that the robberies and the cult are connected at all.... whether anyone else has gotten as much information as you guys have is currently unknown.

I knew about the greenspeakers/silve flame membeers ... I guess for some reason it got mixed up in my head that the other four adventuring parties might be missing as well

yep.
silver flame and greenspeaker = cult problem
4 other groups = robbery problem

as far as we know, you are the only ones who have evidence that it's the same thing.

Even though I'm not involved, I personally have found the whole investigative segment a bit too open-ended for my tastes, but I'm more of a "solve problems by hitting them with rocks" kind of guy. Granted, they may be exotic spirit laden telepathically wielded rocks, but still...

At the moment, we're expecting a conversation with Murgis who is seemingly an important plot-related npc. As a player however, I would not feel comfortable putting words into Sturgis' mouth, and thus nothing would progress until you (the DM) posted again. What I would wind up doing would be posting about something regarding my surroundings or idle chatter with my teammates that didn't actually advance anything. Checking the main thread, it seems that's pretty much what has happened.
