We cannot progress a class on both sides simultaneously. that is one of the few rules I have kept for gestalt.

yeah. that's fine.


I don't know if that is something you are concerned about or not, but if I am going to trhow 10 huge baddies with a 52 ac with 900 hp a pop dealing out 120 hit points of damage each round, I think it's impotant that we all keep up with each othe (as is my personal promis to everyone here).

So build what you want, focus on how you interact with the team and what your build brings to the mix. With 7 people, lot of variables are going to be redundant.

I'm not the best Min/Maxer in the world, but perhaps I can spice him up a notch. I was thinking the Dragon Mark Heir for role play.. I know it is incredibly weak... With all the extra feats I get normally I may just add them that way.

a legacy item integrated into your character can pretty much make some of yer sla's at will
that can potentially bump you up quite a bit without changng flavor at all we'll see what you do and we'll futz with it from there.

I need to figure out how to get my dex bonus high enough to hit that ac.

EDIT: Is there a feat that lets you use your strength bonus for ranged throwing attacks?

EDITT: Yes, Brutal Throw from Complete Adventurer.

Question: If a race has natural weapons or natural attacks, does that char still need to get improved unarmed strike as a prerequisite to improved grapple?

I'll adjust my numbers when I have a better idea of what you guys can actually accomplish... gwynn uses touch and AoE nukes, sul uses will SoD's mostly, Cel uses touch and SoD's... so I may be able to bring down base AC considerably now that rass and Hier are apparently not returning. So we'll see what needs to be done once ascendant, dog and emmy finish their builds. it may be 40 - 45 instead.

I wouldn't just GIVE you the stats... I'm mostly just intimidating you.
Though, as a 12th level cleric, you've got buffs out the wazoo you can have lined up to help you "turn it to 11" when needed... I typically only have one or two significant combats per chapter, which means you can normally afford to front load your bigger spells with not too much concern.

build what you want, and we'll see what needs to be done to balance everythng.

I have another question...

Surely there is a range increment modification table for strength bonuses and/or size bonuses... Why can I not find this?

It couldn't be true that a Pixie with a 6 strength can throw a small javelin the same distance as, say, a Huge Stone Giant throwing a Gargantuan Javelin with a 50+ strength...

haha.

no. Technically everyone can throw the same weapon the same distances. The strength factors into damage (and with previous feat, to hit). but the weapon itself defines distance.

I beleive the master thrower PrC bends this rule... AFB right now for the next 12 hours. won't know til then.. if someone better educated than us can reference where this judgement is inaccurate, by all means, enlighten us.

Looks pretty good... quick question about AC... natural armour bonuses don't stack, so help me understand how your nat armour is 28? I must have missed something unless you mistakenly stacked the NAC of the giant and the angel parts.....?

LOL that is the only thing that stood out to me.

Base +36 for attacks... taht's pretty good. doing arond 40 a pop 3 times a round. sounds about right. ac good. and hella spells. I think yergona be fine.

If you can post a full 20 level build i the iki that would be good.
Oh, hey. Faction.
Faction is the measurable relationships you build i your character's life. you have positive and negative faction.

Basically, I don't want yor characters to be created in a vacuum. I'd like to have an idea of how your characer got to 14th level.
positive faction is a good relationship with an organization, government, idividual NPC, or guild.
you did favors for them, took actions that benefitted them etc
negative faction is how you bad you have doe to a group, organization etc.
bascially, the more you thwart an adversary, kill guildmembers, etc the worse your faction gets.

faction is a scale of 1-10. each level, you choose two different entities or organizations to either assign positive or negative faction to each level. I will do so as well, bt won't tell you what I pick.. so folks can get pissed off at you with out you knowing it, or can start secretly fnding you because everything you do benefits them, etc.
You can't choose the same organization more than once per level... so the max amount of positive or negative with any single organization is .. +7 or -7.

The reason I enforce this is to get a sense of history for those that care to build it, or to get an idea of what you like to beat up for those that think along that line... a well built character will compose of both.

You can offer two positive factions per level, to show who you want to have alliances with or partnership with.
you can offer two negative faction to show what you like to kill or who you want to piss off.
or you can doe positive one negative.

I'll assign the oposite without telling you. hopefully it'll come up in the game somewhere.

And you veterans still here! gimme some faction from chapter 3 if you haven't doe so already!
